I remember the first time that I darkened the door step of a gym. I was hooked .
Lifting weights, getting stronger, and seeing the visible changes to my body were exciting for a young teenager. The more that I saw results the more I wanted to hit the gym. Pretty soon I was training in gym in some form 5-6 days a week and continued to do this for years.
Then something happened...
The results started to slow to a trickle even though I was still training 5-6 days a week, my strength started to plateau (even decline a bit), and my body-fat started going up a bit.
Life happened.
I got married, opened a business, and had a kid. Suddenly I didn't have 5-6 hours a week to devote to working out and I slowly watched my strength diminish, my waistline expand, and my energy and motivation to workout (or do anything) evaporate.
I felt like no matter how much sleep I got the night before, I was always tired and I would wake up every morning and look in the mirror at a guy I didn't want to be.
